Blood Double (God Wars, #1) by Connie Suttle
They remain powerless to stop Hyperion, until a peasant named Theseus Henry Cavill comes forth as their only hope. Rallying a band of fellow outsiders, including visionary This film certainly has its flaws. Weak character development is the main one, but it's not nonexistent. The story is interesting, definitely not accurately following the mythology but creating an alternate universe with the same characters.
The direction, acting, and effects were all well done. Everyone who was present at the midnight showing thoroughly enjoyed it. It is not a perfect film, but it is undeniably enjoyable and much better than other similarly themed movies that have been made recently. Start your free trial.

I am really glad that I decided to stick around now. While this installment in the series wasn't my favorite, it was a big improvement. In the last books, we saw a lot of what happened in the past but not in the future which was my main problem with them. This book skipped back and forth between the present a 4.
This book skipped back and forth between the present and the past a lot more which I really liked and made it more interesting. I felt like Breanne accepted that she is The Mighty Heart and she finally took on an active role in the outcome of things.
I have complained before that I felt like Breanne avoided her problems by going into the past so I was happy to see her step up to the plate for once. I agreed with most of the decisions she made and I definitely like her character more now. I do like where her story is going when it comes to her mates. There are a lot of them but I like each and every one of them for completely different reasons.
I was shocked when Norian died. I don't think I should have been but I was. Even though I didn't agree with a lot of the decisions he made, I still felt bad when he died. I hope that Lissa can get over the death of her son and her mate being so close together. I know that is going to be really hard on her. I was also shocked when Charles ended up being The Mighty Mind. Looking back, there are a few clues here and there but I never would have guessed.
